it can happen

I think it's possible that there are jobs out there that you can't find the positive in. I don't tell people the negatives of my jobs because it's fun, it's just the answer to their question happens to be negative.

Agree? Disagree?

Watch an episode of "Dirty Jobs" with host Mike Rowe on the Discovery Channel, then ask that question of yourself again. The answer would be "yes".

anyone who tries to tell you to find the silver lining is a)living in la-la land and/or b)possibly the most annoying person in the world.

What Would Oprah Think?

That's my answer to any conundrum such as this. I've been reading this book called The Secret and it says that you get the life you imagine.

Sounds like you're just not IMAGINING the right job.

Actually none of the preceeding was true.

But I do think that jobs are a necessary evil. Short of rock star, movie star, and professional athlete--very few people would do what they do 40 hours a week even if they didn't get paid for it.
