going on 4 years

In October it will be 4 years since I started boycotting Wal-Mart. You can read my previous post for the reasons why I've chosen to do so.

I'm not going to ask you to join me in my boycott. That's your decision. But I am asking you to watch the video below and consider this other viewpoint from actual Wal-Mart employees. The second video is Obama standing with union workers challenging Wal-Mart to make changes in their company that benefit their employees.

I know that I dispise Wal-Mart and avoid shopping there at all cost, but all this was new information to me! Thanks for sharing, and I'm passing it along.

I can't stand Wal Mart and avoided it like the plague for years, but I had no idea how much they kill small town business until I moved to New Albany, MS.

Almost ANYTHING other than groceries I need has to be either bought at Wally World or Fred's (a discount store similar to dollar General). My only options now are that or drive 62 miles to Memphis.

At this point I would even kill for a Target in Tupelo.
