Okay. I need your help. Please vote below.
My friend Kristen and I are taking a road trip in 3 weeks! We had been planning on going to Albuquerque, NM because neither of us had ever been, it wasn't too far away, but far enough that it wasn't close and it would probably be cooler (in more ways than one) than OKC. But, this morning, through a series of hilarious emails (per usual) we tossed around the idea of going to Memphis, TN!
As some of you may or may not know, Kristen and I decided if we were to ever become stand-up comedians, we would call ourselves Sloppy Sober and our fall tour would kick off in some random smallish city. We practice saying "GOODNIGHT MEMPHIS!" and dropping our mics and walking off stage. This has grown to a level of outrageous where we have decided we will have dance routines, matching sequin outfits, songs, impressions...you name it, it's probably in our "show." And we don't care if you don't think this is as funny as we do.
So, instead of flipping a coin and continuing the "No really, I don't care, we can do whatever" emails, we decided we would take it to the people and let them decide which way we're headed...EAST or WEST. So please, humor us and tell us where you think we should go! (PS, The annual balloon festival in ABQ is in October, so don't let that factor into your decision.)

Albuquerque is a boring drive but beautiful once you get there...and cooler temperatures. Not a ton of stuff to do there though. Memphis has a prettier drive but is more city. depends on what you want.
If you need a backup ribbon dancer for your comedy routine please let me know.
"some random smallish city"? Sloppy Sober meet Des Moines, IA....is that even spelled right?? Who knows, it's too random!
Na, I'd pick NM. No one ever goes there to get famous, except maybe alien life forms.
Go West Young Women! I think you can find a lot of really silly things to do along the way through the desert.
I vote Memphis! It's so much fun and has a great history! Talk about some awesome music! On second thought, maybe you should wait until a week out and check the 10 day forecast for your trip. You don't want to trade heat for heat!
I grew up in the east and like the west better. The only thing about the east is the pretty trees and mountains...
You might be able to have more comedy acts in Memphis...
Maybe you should base it on how many times you've been east and west and go to the one you've been least.
ABQ!
I like your Fave Rave over there on the side and I am going to steal it.
We loved ABQ, and you can take a side trip to Santa Fe! Beautiful :)
