Not because I hate my body or anything but the whole trying on with your bra still on and it deceiving you that you actually fill out the top and then you go home and realize you don't. And when I say no one, I mean no one. And you feel a LOT better when some of the local ladies (who are stereotypically large) come trotting out, with no shame, in their little bikinis. I totally know what you mean, but seriously...you'll notice soon that everyone is too busy relaxing and enjoying the scenery to look at how well you look in your swimsuit.Kendra Thomsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05584850982935125575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6909245715081220170.post-85731059771337340182010-03-02T09:45:11.706-06:002010-03-02T09:45:11.706-06:00I too hate swimsuit shopping. My once smaller than it is now body has gained 25 pounds since I started college and I've realized more than ever it's just going to get harder and harder to get it off. I me...I second JJ's judgment of Target clothes! I mean, I still buy them, but ALL of my shirts from there are at least a large...and that's if I want a snugly fitted shirt. Buying clothes at Target always makes me feel 20 pounds heavier than I actually am. SOOO depressing. I've had success with Gap and (surprisingly) Victoria's Secret. Usually I order online so I don't know about in-store availability. But some of my favs (and most complimented) have come from Vickys.

Happier hunting!revbrunethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02434267163139153283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6909245715081220170.post-52782025531439488202010-03-01T20:52:41.361-06:002010-03-01T20:52:41.361-06:00Oh, Cara. "Working on" is sort of a misleading phrase unless sitting on the couch counts.

But I found a tankini at Dillard's that is somewhat flattering.Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16736601832233923907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6909245715081220170.post-24240102044948247172010-03-01T19:07:52.167-06:002010-03-01T19:07:52.167-06:00dude.... 1st. Target......... NO WAY.... I have ...dude.... 1st. Target......... NO WAY.... I have had the WORST experiences there. I had dropped about 15 lbs in a year and was all "WOO HOO" right? went to the t-get... the LARGES were too small. The swimsuit situation there should be illegal. I swear by Gap Body. now- it doesn't do miracles, but they aren't torturers either. Just a tip. best of luck - I've been there. OOh- and my mom's motto, "if you can't tone it, tan it." I bet after a day or two in the sun (barring burn) you'll be feeling a lot better. No one ... not a single person should have to try on swimsuits w/ pastey winter skin in garish store lighting w/ swimsuits that are improperly made. I hate those days.JJChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07840759524642103744noreply@blogger.com
